In Republic County, Kansas, near the town of Scandia, an ethanol plant and a home sustained EF2 damage from this long-tracked multiple-vortex tornado, while a feedlot and several other houses were impacted less severely. In Thayer County, Nebraska, near the town of Chester, trees were damaged, pivots were overturned, and a home had its roof partially blown off near Hebron before the tornado dissipated.
