Early morning storms with an associated and confirmed tornado swept through SW suburbs of Perth today leaving a costly clean up bill. Winds were exceeding 125km/h according to the Bureau of Meteorology and a damage path of roughly 60m. This would estimate the tornado to be in the EF1 (118-180km/h) category in the Fujita scale.
