The tornado struck a high school football field, damaging the scoreboard, overturning bleachers, and damaging the roof of the school. A football game was scheduled for that time, but the attendees took shelter and no injuries were reported. Elsewhere, trees and power lines were snapped and homes sustained minor damage.
