Three tornadoes were confirmed in Southern Manitoba, the largest given a preliminary EF1 rating and touching down in the southern part of Long Plain First Nation. Roofs were blown off houses, trees uprooted and some homes were separated from their foundations. It lasted approximately 15 minutes and was on the ground for 9 km. The two other weak tornadoes touched down near Hartney, and Souris, Manitoba, causing no damage.
