Widespread damage reported across three counties. The Sunshine Acres mobile home park near Adel suffered tremendous damage, with more than 20 mobile homes "totally blown away". Seven people died in Sunshine Acres and an unknown number of others were injured. Five people were reported unaccounted for. Two people died in both Brooks and Berrien counties.
