The La Salle County Nursing Home and La Salle County Highway Department both sustained EF2 damage, with lighter damage upstream. Two structures sustained EF3 damage: a home was lifted off its foundation and deposited with only its interior walls intact, and the Pilkington Glass Plant had a section of its factory completely destroyed. Lesser damage was observed to other houses and trees. This was the northernmost February EF3 tornado on record in Illinois.
