This long-track wedge tornado narrowly missed the Quad Cities metropolitan area to the northwest. Many power poles were snapped, a house had its roof ripped off, numerous farm buildings were damaged or destroyed, and many trees were snapped or uprooted. A small free standing tower was bent over 1/3 from the top.
